This stunning all natural citrine is one of the most sought-after varieties of citrine. This gemstone is named after the fortified wine made in the Madeira Islands, just off the coast of Portugal. This rare and unique color forms less than two-percent of all citrine found on the market today. Santa Ana Madeira Citrine is one of the most valuable citrines, displaying an intensely saturated red-orange to Orange-Yellow color and fabulous internal interest and color variances within the stones. Gemstones with highly saturated yellow, orange and reddish tones are considered to be the most valuable. These are great large size and could make beautiful hand wrapped jewelry, a special gift for any collector as these are quite rare and can easily be included in crystal grids, popped into a pocket, bra, or spell bag.
